PLANS AND PROGRAMS
The PNP Engineering Service continuously improves the technical and operational capabilities of ES personnel to cope for the new challenges of quality service to the PNP organization as well as to the public.
The Land Utilization Division (LUD) of this Service is the primary responsible for the safe keeping of all PNP Real Estate and conduct of surveys to the PNP own lot in the different places of country in connection with the PNP projects related for fencing of the Camps, land development for housing program, police stations, identify PNP lots suitable for Personnel Quartering and Housing Projects and among others. LUD plans for the Micro filming of all PNP Real Estate Records at hand and the Creation of Data Base and Mapping of Real Estate Property with the aide of Geographic Information System (GIS) Software. Train personnel with the GIS Software and Hardware and continue conduct educational enhancement of personnel on Auto-Cad and on the application of new engineering technologies.
Currently the Construction and Repair Division (CRD) of the Service proposed the used of solar cell for the police station type “C” for the far flung areas wherein electrical supply are not generated. Conduct regular inspection on all on-going infrastructure projects of the PNP nationwide. Several proposed PNP projects are the PROPOSED CASTAÑEDA HOUSING PROJECT with 3-4 stroey condo buildings with a total of 160 units with project duration of 10 months and PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION OF CONDO 11 inside Camp Crame, Quezon City.
This Service continue to pursue the financial assistance for Capability Enhancement Program to enhance the technical capability of ES personnel by using AutoCAD in drafting working drawings in Architectural, Structural, Electrical, Mechanical and Sanitary plans including 3D of a multi-storey building. This program includes training of personnel on various AutoCAD software wherein they will also learn strategizing distribution and management of drawings for team projects which are beneficial not only to them but also for this Service by making them a more capable and productive member of the PNP.
